These are two of my bookshelves that I think looked most photographeable... I have lots of books and schoolstuff, especially now that I need to take my stuff to read for the exams.
These are my CD's and my badmniton racket that we need for school. My dad got me the CD-shelves and painted them with the same colour as my walls :D
The poster is from a finnish magazine called Demi, and the Chinese lucky charm is from a Chinese restaurant that used to be in town. There was a woman and a man, a couple, you see, from Shanghai, and they had the restaurant. Sadly, there weren't many customers apart from us, and so they had to close it and move somewhere else.
The silver box has my name on it, and it's my baptisement gift from my grandparents, The alarm clock i got from Yves Rocher once as I have the fidelity card. I don't use the alarm, it's too harsh for me.
I love postcards. I put every new place I get on somewhere. Some places I have twice, like Dresden, or Finland.
This is where I keep all my small money that I don't like to have in my wallet.
I got this beautiful porcelan vase for my confirmation, and it's from Pentik. I love the design and it's perfect. When I'm older I can keep food in it, aswell, it has a very tight top.
This is my lucky pig. It's a german tradition and I've had it since I was very small.
This reindeer is also from Pentik and came with the vase. I think it's super elegant :)
And here is my cheery snowman!!! I got him yesterday at my family's christmas party. He's my only christmas decoration (yet).
As you noticed, maybe, most of my stuff are gifts. I like to put gifts up because they remind me of people that are important to me. I like to wear jewellery that people give me, even if it's not special, but because it's from them and it feels like I have something from them with me. Living in another country than your family is sometimes hard. You can't just go to grandma and talk to her, or in my case, my aunts. I'd love to be able to hang out with them all the time, but I can't.
There are good things aswell, though. I am international, and basically, I get the best of both worlds ;)
